The Master Number 33/6
The Master of Healing Love

The owner of Master Number 33/6 has redoubled creativity and communications skills -- which certainly suggests the need to branch out and use all this abundance in fresh and fabulous ways, and thus this soul is on a path of establishing kinship, a sense of family, and providing what it knows and what it has learned for the benefit of the greater group.

In this case, the maxim that "Knowledge is Power" translates into "The Power of Knowledge holds the Power to Heal." Here, the open heart and loving nature of Number 6 has at its disposal the tremendous knowledge and wisdom of the doubled Number 3. The combination is known for being visionary, altruistic, mystical, empathetic, protective, merciful, and forgiving. With its strong communication skills ... the Master Number 33/6 is often a crusader, seeking to unite the cosmic tribe of humanity under the wise spiritual principles it knows carry Universal Truth.

The owners of Master Number 33/6 are noted for being protectors of the less-advantaged, champions of the underdog, and ... to borrow a phrase from history, Defenders of the Faith. At their best, they carry, demonstrate, and embody an extraordinary degree of selflessness, compassion, tolerance, and unconditional love. They are sensitive in all nuances of that word ... being both highly intuitive, easily hurt, able to psychically detect another person's pain and injury, and exceptionally liable to suffer emotional distress simply from being in proximity to others who are suffering.

Master Number 33/6s are so well-versed in empathy and caring they can cross over into identification with another person ... and so here is where their need for balance and detachment is most evident. Here, too, of course, is where their tendency to become crusaders (as noted above) is born, for having felt another's pain ... they have the zealous will and determination to do something about it.

A problem, though, is their willingness to protect others better than they protect themselves. Their reputation for self-sacrificing gestures is very well founded. And the vibration of the Lower Number 6 imposes responsibility for the welfare of others as part of its native package. This combination often involves the owners of Master Number 33/6 in causes dealing with injustice, human rights, enlightenment, and the advancement of human knowledge.

At its best, Master Number 33/6 can be strangely unaffected by issues of ego and unimpressed by the splendor of its own power. But the strength of its gifts are rarely lost on others, and the owners of Master Number 33/6 can develop a following for their talents and abilities virtually without trying. Sometimes it's simply the power of their faith in action that is so stirring.

The owners of Master Number 33/6 need to be able to set boundaries ... often for their own sakes ... for they try being all things to all people, and even they can't balance that load. Thus Master Number 33/6 is charged with learning the martyr's lesson -- hopefully without having to pay the martyr's usual price -- that sacrificing oneself totally for another is useless for everyone when there is no longer a "self" left to sacrifice. The rescuer, the one in need of help, and anyone else the rescuer might help ... all lose.

As any good teacher knows, the true gift (and the teacher's job!!) lies not in doing the student's work ... but in giving the student the skills to do his own work. Thus some works refer to the Master Number 33/6 as the Cosmic Parent ... the wise elder who understands that, in the end, every spirit sinks or swims under his own steam ... and that no one else can learn a lesson for you.

This attitude also demonstrates one of the Universal Truths all Master Numbers, but especially the 33/6s, hold dear ... that in order to love others you must first love yourself, and in order to heal others you must first heal yourself, because you cannot give away anything you do not yourself own. (In legal work, they refer to that as theft and fraud. In spiritual work, it's called hypocrisy ... and it's worse than useless. It looks like love, and help, and nourishment ... but it most assuredly is not. It's usually exploitation, pretentiousness, and parasitism of a most despicable kind.)

Notable owners of Master Number 33/6 are Meryl Streep, Jesse Jackson, Elisabeth Kubler-Ross, and Christopher Reeve. And despite tremendous effort on Rebecca's part to open the Enchanted Spirit site on another day ... on April 10, 1999, that entity "accidentally" entered the material world with a 33/6 Life Path Number.
