Update on the Grand Fixed Cross

There are some important changes underway in the Grand Fixed Cross pattern that has been the durable celestial metaphor for the feeling of stalemate and impatience we've been trying to work through and get past for a couple of months now.

It's that sensation of waiting-for-something-to-break ... waiting-for-the-other-shoe-to-fall ... described in numerous emails and conversations I've had lately. (And just because I know about this ... and understand what's going on and why ... doesn't mean I'm any happier about it. Maybe some of you feel that way, too.)

So ... what's happened? What's happening? And what does it mean in real life?

Well, Mars in Taurus (action regarding money, the use of assets, and budgetary considerations) is separating from its lengthy and frustrating square to Saturn in Leo ... because Mars is now out of retrograde and moving forward and because Saturn has gone into retrograde and is moving backward!! (At least in Astrological terms ... the planets, of course, don't reverse themselves in their orbits. This is an optical illusion caused by the fact that we are also on a planet that is also in motion, revolving around the central nucleus of our solar system ... The Sun.)
