Mars in Taurus opposing Jupiter in Scorpio

Mars in Taurus ... the Astrological metaphor for financial action and initiatives ... is at last releasing its position in this conflicted and difficult pattern and shuffling on out the door. This certainly doesn't mean the end of problems, but at least the gridlock is dissolving. So, too, is the feeling that you have no workable, let alone attractive, options ... or that you're in trouble no matter what you choose.

Under stress, Mars in Taurus has described financial problems -- or problems that "money couldn't solve," frustration over projects that turned out to be more and more expensive the further you got into them, and money that either didn't materialize -- or action that didn't get the job done with the resources you were willing (or able) to spend. Part of the problem is Mars in Taurus can be extremely one-dimensional in its thinking ... and its insistence on "following preset plans."

In Astrology, Mars represents your ability to take assertive action; your capacity for aggression; your outward sexual expression. Taurus is involved with issues of money, income, possessions, financial management, and buying habits. Mars represents your ability to take assertive action; your capacity for aggression; your outward sexual expression; your use of energy, force and willpower to achieve your ambitions and desires; your ability to be direct and independent; and your competitive spirit.
