The Sun and Mercury in Aquarius
Opposing Saturn in Leo

Well, not to sound a sour note here at the beginning of the week-end (hurray!!!), but we're entering into one of the most difficult and frustrating weeks of the year. On Friday, January 27 ... in the early morning and mid-afternoon, first Mercury in Aquarius ... and then The Sun in Aquarius moved into an opposition with Saturn in Leo at 8°.

Saturn oppositions involving virtually any planet are notoriously depressing. They carry an air of criticism, frustration, and judgmental attitudes that can make you feel like you just can't catch a break ... and at the end of the struggle you wind up wondering, "Why do I try?"

This year's face off between the Aquarius desire for freedom and independence versus the Leo desire for appreciation and applause may bring a lot of obvious self- criticism to the mix, but that probably won't stop you from projecting harsh, unkind attitudes onto other people who just don't seem to appreciate your uniqueness!!
