The Sun conjunct Neptune in Aquarius

Well, last week I noted that The Sun in Aquarius would soon follow in Mercury's footsteps across the remnants of the dissolving Grand Fixed Cross ... and sure enough, here we go. As these two planets move into Pisces (which Mercury will do Wednesday evening), a much happier, more tolerant energy will start soothing some of the irritation this unhappy quartet has described for over three months now.

We really are getting through the worst of it, although, yes, I agree we're so depleted from the long, long journey even these easier times may not feel like much relief. However, The Sun has formed a conjunction with Neptune in Aquarius at 17° and a square with Jupiter in Scorpio at 18°.

The conjunction with Neptune signals that we will soon find some of the "peace and quiet ... and greater freedom" we've been longing to enjoy, while the square with Jupiter in Scorpio is actually an energy of exaggerated optimism. Given the gloomy times we've just traversed, even minor optimism may feel exaggerated ... but squares between The Sun and Jupiter can carry a punch-drunk sensation of being happier for reasons unknown. So keep that in mind if you're soon so grateful for the sunnier skies you can feel yourself tipping too far into euphoria

If you have Natal Chart placements near 17° of Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, or especially Aquarius ... this conjunction's cosmic gifts could be especially nice.
