Venus in Aquarius opposing Saturn in Leo

Venus in Aquarius is an energy that often shows affection through unusual, clever, unorthodox gestures that look more like "friendship" than romance, while Saturn in Leo, promotes a climate where you may worry about your public image. With Saturn in Leo you (and everyone else) want to put your best, most "mature" self on display, and you fret about "what people think of you."

In Leo / Aquarius oppositions, you are working with issues of "how much independence" you want in your relationships ... and "how much you want to be loved for yourself alone." In real life, this drama may play out through friendly overtures of affection (or even invitations to "play" romantically) that are unusual ... possibly eccentric ... or even "off the wall."

But you'll choose to present these offers to someone who finds them unappealing, or who is disturbed by either the image you present ... or the image they might have to cope with if they joined in with what you are proposing. They may even ridicule you as silly, "weird," or "too crazy for me to deal with right now." They may imply (or state outright!!) that they wish you'd grow up, "get over this silly stuff," or "be serious for a change."

Right now, this energy is just another little pothole on Life's highway. Not the first, and surely not the last. You'll get past it in a little while. We all will.

If you have placements in your Natal Chart near 5° of Taurus, Scorpio, Leo or Aquarius ... one or another of these issues may carry some extra kick when it shows up and demands your attention. And the conditions under which this energy plays out in your life may be more complicated, inconvenient, or upsetting than the rather innocuous game of emotional tag I've described here.
