The Sun in Pisces Trine Jupiter in Scorpio

There's an interesting little "piece of business" about the relationship of Jupiter in its orbit with The Sun. When Jupiter turns retrograde, within six days it forms a trine with the Sun. (Jupiter turned retrograde in Scorpio on March 4 ... and in the early morning hours of March 9, it formed a trine with the Pisces Sun at 19°.)

Jupiter stays retrograde for almost exactly four months ... and when it forms its next trine with The Sun (which will happen on the last day of June this year when the Sun in Cancer trines Jupiter in Scorpio at 9°) ... within six days, Jupiter will come out of retrograde and turn direct again. (July 6)

A Sun / Jupiter trine is considered one of the most "cosmically generous" and fortunate aspects in Astrology. People born with this trine in their Natal Charts are thought to be especially blessed with good Karma and great possibilities for a profitable and "protected" life. Not that they won't have problems. Everybody does ... it's part of living. But folks with a Sun / Jupiter trine seem able to step out of disaster in far better shape than one might expect -- given the conditions they were handed ... and they seem to carry on with a stirring resilience and style.

In Astrology, The Sun trine Jupiter is one of Fortune's favors ... and two of them get passed out every year, so there are moments of goodness for everyone to enjoy. What's ironic about this aspect is it brings an atmosphere where things just seem to "go right" ... and it passes quickly enough (in about 10 - 14 days) that most people don't have time to notice the extra sparkles of sunshine they're getting -- or they chalk them up to lucky breaks and coincidence.

Well, as an acquaintance of mine used to say ... "I'll take the gifts of good luck any day!!" If we're thinking straight ... there's not many of us who'd turn those down!
