The Sun in Taurus opposing Jupiter in Scorpio

Jupiter in Scorpio opposing the The Sun in Taurus suggests you and "other people" entice one another into overextending yourselves ... in this case financially ... and you wind up with either too much going on or you don't have the foundations necessary to maintain the effort. Sun / Jupiter oppositions promise all kinds of grand results that really do sound feasible at the time -- but which just don't have the follow-through or other resources to make it all happen "as advertised."

When the Sun opposes Jupiter it introduces a mood that is much too optimistic, when over-confidence is rampant, and the temptation to over-commit in projects or relationships is often just too much to resist. People promise more than they can deliver. Arrogance may be evident. A pretentious, affected attitude takes hold.

(In July, you'll be able to make MUCH better use of this energy as the Sun in Cancer moves into a somewhat more loosely configured, but still perfectly valid Grand Water Trine. And in November when half the sky is in Scorpio ... Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, and Jupiter ... you'll really be on a roll.
