Mercury in Gemini opposing Pluto in Sagittarius

This energy depicts the need to merge "your ideas" with a larger social philosophy and agenda ... often through confrontation, quarreling, coercion and disagreements. It's time to improve and refine your thinking and your concepts ... and the way you and "the rest of the world" interact.

It will take a while for this benefit to appear though, since Mercury retrogrades in Cancer next month, and thus won't be in Leo to form the trine with Pluto until late August.

So try not to go ballistic if someone with enough status to make you pay attention challenges what you think and say. And don't be so fixed (or flaky!!!) in your views that you miss benefits you could have by building common ground with "society's views" Both you and society (or you and your debating partners!!) need this challenge, to be honest, to refine your different positions into a compromise better than what either of you have right now. As I said, this will take time, but open minds on both sides of any controversy could benefit everyone.
