Mercury in Leo

Mercury, its celestial rate of motion relative to the Earth slowing down to a crawl as it prepares to turn retrograde next month, has dipped briefly into Leo ...where it will stay until July 10. Although it will be in this new sign for nearly two weeks, astrologically speaking the incursion is hardly worth mentioning. Mercury will only reach 1° of Leo before taking a station and then retreating back into the comforts of Cancer for a much longer stay. It will be back in Cancer from July 10 until August 10.

I'm really only mentioning this minor sign change as a formality. I'll get much more excited about it when Mercury makes a complete trip through Leo in August. Between now and then though there's lots more work to do with Water Sign energy, especially if you have placements in your Natal Chart in the 20 - 29° area of Cancer, Scorpio, or Pisces ... and if you have Natal Chart placements near 1° of Leo, this particular retrograde period of rethinking and refocusing will be especially productive.
