Jupiter in Scorpio square Saturn in Leo

This is a pattern that only forms every 10 years. So get yourself something to drink and settle back. I'm going to talk about it for a while. This energy has been dithering around like a pesky mosquito since the beginning of the year, and yes, oh, yes, we are now finally going to get through it!!

The last time we played with life while this energy was around was in the summer of 1996 ... and that was the approaching square between Jupiter in Capricorn and Saturn in Aries. This is the departing square. (There is actually a difference in tone between one and the other ... but I won't try to go into that here.) The last departing square to grace the world was the one between Jupiter in Pisces and Saturn in Sagittarius ... back in the early Spring of 1986.

This is another component of the Grand Fixed Cross that sat like a boil on everyone's behind around New Years ... when I wrote consoling words saying that conflicted pattern would eventually unlock and we'd get to deal with these issues sequentially instead of all at once ... and hopefully by then they'd be a bit more manageable -- if only because they'd be more familiar.
