Venus in Gemini opposing Pluto in Sagittarius

Traditionally, Venus / Pluto oppositions point to power struggles in relationships. Venus in Gemini opposing Pluto in Sagittarius suggests a time of relationship adjustments... when merging your new ideas (or new facts you've discovered) with those of partners -- or "customary views" -- sets up a potential debate (ok, sure, let's call it that) over differences in opinion. You may be all excited over a new concept ... or a new brainstorm ... but getting the people you need to cooperate in your proposals may be much easier said than done.

There may be matters of accepted philosophy involved. The august attitude of established beliefs often rejects "new-fangled ideas" out of hand ... dismissing them as fads. There may be "turf" to defend, too. New ideas are not always welcome ... and "better ideas" can have an especially rough time.

Because the influence of this transit only lasts about ten to twelve days, it may not inconvenience you much, unless you start something important where ideologies are involved ... something you'll have to live with for a long time (like a marriage ... or an extensive job project. But then, Mercury is retrograde, as well now ... so you know better than to do that in the first place ... don't you?!!)

When Venus opposes Pluto, relationships change -- sometimes dramatically -- and when appropriate, may even come to an end. Values change, too ... as do "operating principles" ... and if a relationship in crisis survives this time, it moves on with an improved understanding all around as to just what revised roles and expectations are involved and what the lines in the new power structures look like. It can be ... well, exciting. But with this transit as short-lived as it is, anything that does end permanently under its encouragement was more than ripe for the moment.

If you have placements in your Natal Chart near 25° of Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, or Aquarius ... these next few weeks could be "eye-opening" ... to you and your partners. Stay flexible ... and calm ... and see what the next few weeks deliver. For everyone, though ... the affairs of whatever houses hold these components in your Natal Chart could be in for some high winds and thunder between now and the end of the month ... and your choices will play a big part in how it all turns out.
