Venus in Leo square Jupiter in Scorpio

Venus / Jupiter squares by themselves are notoriously self-indulgent, able to spend money like water, and never saw a pretty bauble they didn't want to own. Now, with self-centered Leo on the one hand ... and passionate Scorpio on the other, the invitation to pamper your ego with someone else's money may be too tempting to resist. You're looking for evidence that you're loved -- and if you can manage that on someone else's dime, hey (!!) so much the better. Basically Leo / Scorpio clashes point to pretentious displays of generosity with hidden strings attached.

A more attractive display of this energy is to make some extravagant romantic gesture (which puts you onstage naturally!!) with assets that aren't completely yours to use as you please. "Assets" aren't just money or property, you know ... so beware of giving away or spending mutual riches instead of your wealth ... for the sake of your glory. Usually this is a harmless aspect ... unless someone steals credit you think you deserve big time ... and hard feelings become secret grudges. And if you do this to someone else, you may wind up with a trusted associate (or partner) quietly looking "to get even."
