Venus in Virgo

Venus went into Virgo just after midnight Wednesday morning ... and will travel there, in this helpful, self-effacing sign until the early morning of September 30. When Venus is in Virgo, attitudes are rational, discriminating, and practical, especially regarding relationships. This is not exactly the stuff of moonlight and roses ... and so in matters of the heart, Virgo energy has a distinctly "unromantic" reputation.

Under stress with Venus in Virgo, efforts to be loving and helpful quickly become "smothering." Attentive service ... turns to "hovering," "fretting," and being too "picky." Efforts to improve or serve loved ones sours into complaining, fault-finding, and criticism. (Venus in Virgo is terrific at believing if you nag them enough, the people you love will improve themselves ... and thank you for your help. I didn't say this was always a realistic energy!!)
