The Sun in Libra sextile Saturn in Leo

The Sun in Libra has formed a sextile between Saturn in Leo on one side and Pluto in Sagittarius on the other. Yes, this means there's a trine forming now between Saturn and Pluto, and we'll be talking about that soon. But at the moment, the Sun's position creates an interesting pivot point between the two, helping you use this long-lasting and profoundly Karmic energy (Saturn and Pluto are both heavy hitters in Karmic Astrology.) to benefit you personally and create lasting results in yet another special area of your life -- the one that currently holds the transiting Libra Sun.. This double sextile formed around 23° of the various signs involved.

As I've said in past issues of this Ezine (and a few dozen other places besides), The Sun in Libra encourages you to work through partnerships, see yourself as part of a couple (or a team,) and be especially cooperative and accommodating. Saturn in Leo is a driving invitation to make something of yourself, be something when you grow up, ... and its "invitations" are usually felt as a swift kick in the pants when it comes to getting your attention.

The Sun sextiles each of these planets twice a year, but because of Saturn's temporary relationship to Pluto right this minute, this year's transit is especially important. And the results in your life will probably be quite noticeable. The last approaching trine between Saturn and Pluto was in 1970-71 -- so you see this, too, is not a run-of-the-mill moment of change.

If you have placements in your Natal Chart near 23° of Libra, Leo, or Sagittarius, the climate of this time may be especially noticeable. Natal Chart placements near 23° of Aries, Aquarius, or Gemini may point to relationship arrangements that need to change -- or are undergoing change ... that add to the complexity of this time for you.
