The Sun conjunct Mars in Libra

Within hours of each other over the past day, The Sun, Mars, and Venus have moved into Scorpio ... and at 4 this morning (MT), for a few hours, with the Moon also in this awesome sign, 6 planets ... 60% of the astrological "sky" strolled through this energy of fundamental transitions and renewal. As I've said, big changes are underway. This next month will see the end of a lot of depleted, exhausted, no-longer-appropriate structures in everyone's life ... and the beginning of the end of other concerns that need to be revitalized or replaced.

The Sun in Libra conjunct Mars in Libra is an energy I would characterize as "pushy diplomacy." It certainly champions partnership interests, insists on fairness and balances, and fights for "truth and justice" with particular zeal. Sounds a bit like Superman, doesn't it? Well, that's what happens when the strength of "unity" lines up and shoves in the same direction. By definition you have more power behind the drive that's underway than one person can exert who strives alone. Libra energy stands foursquare behind "the good of the group, the good of the relationship" ... and I would say the theme for Mars in this sign of the partner is, "Our will be done."

All this change doesn't foretell a particularly easy time in some ways. Change on this massive a scale does have its challenges ... even with "substantial improvement" waiting at the end of the tunnel. But apparently such changes are necessary now ... and this, too, shall pass. There are those folks who thrive in Scorpio's presence. I don't claim to be one of them. But I sincerely hope you are. Because we have a cluster of planets early, early in the sign ... and another late, late in the sign, everyone's Natal Chart is being jangled over the next two months somehow. For those placements in Scorpio, Cancer, Pisces, Capricorn, and Virgo ... these changes I've described will almost certainly be very welcome.
