Venus conjunct Pluto in Sagittarius

Venus, as if trying to beat the rush out of the theater, is heading pell-mell toward the exit from Sagittarius into Capricorn. But along the way she stopped off to pay a lovely social call on Pluto, also in Sagittarius ... and set up a working alliance with Saturn in Leo, all of which brings a much nicer, more cordial, more cooperative climate for relationships and money than has been the case for a few months now. This little party-for-three formed at around 25°.

Venus in Sagittarius conjunct Pluto in Sagittarius is a combination seeking philosophical soulmates, alliances with people whose moral and ethical standards support yours, comrades who share your "religious beliefs" -- as that term applies to your personal rules for living. This blend also encourages a "weeding out" of relationships that are no longer productive ... or appropriate ... to make room for better connections. It can be very unpleasant to realize that you and people you once considered partners, team-mates, or friends are no longer pulling in the same direction on important goals ... or perhaps are no longer "on the same page" in your separate views of life.

If you have placements in your Natal Chart near 25° of Sagittarius, Leo, or especially Aries (!!), this complex aspect could drop some especially nice Christmas treasures at your doorstep this year ... ones which grace additional areas of life in ways you will certainly enjoy. The symbolism of the added placement, and its sign and house position, describes just what else will shape up in your life over the coming weeks.

The Moon is in Leo today. The Moon in Leo is creative, playful, dignified, and very optimistic this month. What a lovely end it brings to this particular week ... a mood that spills jubilantly on into Saturday and most of Sunday. Generally speaking, there are no emotional blots on the agenda until late Sunday night when the Moon in Virgo reminds you ... you have to go back to work on Monday, get all your holiday stuff accomplished, face the stores and the crowds (whether you personally "do" Christmas or not!!), and tie up the details that can be managed at this point. But you have a while before you reach that particular pothole. So ... enjoy the cruisin' while you can!!
