The Sun in Sagittarius square Uranus in Pisces

The Sun in Sagittarius marks a time when you (and people everywhere) are itchy for greener pastures to explore, new educational delights to nourish your mind's constant hunger, the chance to read, write, talk, lecture ... and, yes, preach ... about the things that seem important to you ... rattling on about those philosophical fine point and rules for living that seem worth sharing ... with anybody you can find to talk to ... or who can't get away from your buttonholing tactics fast enough. It's a wonderful time for the intellectual in all of us -- and a restless yearning for new scenery, new cultures, new adventures makes travel seem mighty tempting, too ... sometimes.

However, Uranus in Pisces is a defiantly private energy ... intent on behaving as it pleases in its own way and on its own terms. It's more interested in spiritual and artistic "meaning" than on worldly escapades ... and it urges you to pull back, safeguard your down time, "be by yourself a while," listen to your own thoughts ... and tell the rest of the world to "Leave me the - - - - alone!!!"

Because The Sun is involved, you may feel tempted to take a lot of these aggravations personally ... and to feel like you're going to climb the walls if you don't get a little slack and breathing-room soon. But the better news is ... it won't last all that long. This week may feel fraught with special hassles ... but at least it gets on out of the way fairly fast -- and makes way for happier days and more smiles as the holiday season draws ever-closer.

It's an equally hazardous transit for the Moon in Gemini today ... as it squares Uranus in the afternoon, then forms the Full Moon opposition with The Sun this evening. This may depict an extra measure of emotional volatility, an inability to concentrate well, additional stress from having to keep your ever-growing-ever-updating "To Do" list constantly in mind, and a climate where you feel you can't "settle down" long enough to get anything finished before something else screams for your attention NOW!!!

If you're high-strung to start with, today and tomorrow could leave you feeling pretty grumpy, stressed out, and spread way, way, way too thin. Things get better starting Wednesday as the Moon moves through its home-territory in Cancer. So ... B-R-E-A-T-H-E. And do what it takes to get from here to there in one piece. Stepping-stones like this can keep you from falling in a graceless ker-splash (!!!) right in the middle of the stream.
