Mercury conjunct Mars
and Jupiter in Sagittarius

Mercury, racing to make up for lost ground, is overtaking his fellow traveling companions in Sagittarius -- and will pass all of them finally on Christmas Day. For now, he's formed the conjunctions with Jupiter and Mars ... marking the start of one of the most intellectually exuberant energies I've seen in years. (Very Late November 1994 to be exact. And while this force for growth and "broader perspectives" entered my life heavily disguised at the time, this website is one of the results that ultimately grew from the changes it brought.)

If you have placements in your Natal Chart near 3° of Aries, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, or Aquarius ... other parts of your life are going to benefit nicely from this energy's arrival. The symbolism of the extra placement, as well as the sign and house where it occurs, will describe the nature of this nice little Christmas bonus.

If you have placements in your Natal Chart near 3° of Gemini, major changes and possible benefits associated with a close relationship are suggested -- but there may be some ruckus associated with all this, too. Other people, however, will inevitably be part of the mix of new conditions and ultimate profits coming into your life in the next few months.

Wherever this conjunction falls in your Natal Chart, you have focused interest, a willingness to take action on a large scale, and some grand opportunities for growth and profit assembling their gifts for you now in the affairs ruled by the house that holds this uncommon conjunction. This is truly a place where you may strike "intellectual gold" over the next few months.

The Moon is in Virgo today. The Moon in Virgo is focused on work, practicalities, "humdrum routine," and tying up all the little fine points and details that make the difference between a slap-dash job ... and a fine one. There's not a lot of romance ... or frills ... in the Virgo climate, but it can turn out amazing amounts of work. It's not exactly what you're in the mood for with all this joyous, excitable Sagittarius energy around ... but somehow this seems extraordinarily appropriate for this coming Monday. Tuesday is more of the same, only worse. Once again, Wednesday's lookin' much better.
