Mercury in Aquarius

Mercury, scooting along at practically the speed of light now, is preparing for a slow-down next month. It will retrograde in Pisces in February -- starting the day before Valentine's. (Hmmm ... now there's something to ponder about rethinking your beliefs ... and deciding whether you trust all those declarations of love.) Mercury will dip back into the last five degrees of Aquarius during late February and early March ... actually spending more time there then than during its transit of the entire sign in this pass. (See what I mean about it moving at the speed of light ... at the moment?) But because we are in the here-and-now ... let's talk about the next 2 1/2 weeks.

The The Void of Course Moon in Sagittarius from 2:28 (Mountain Time) Tuesday afternoon until it enters Capricorn at 7:48 PM (MT). From just after noon (MT) however, the Moon is within 30 degrees of the Sun, prior to forming the New Moon on Thursday night (9 PM MT -- Thursday). This is a phenomenon known to Astrologers and others as The The Dark of the Moon ... a time for rest, healing, and closure. It is emphatically not a time to start anything new. So keep the activity, pace of life, and "important stuff" at a minimum this week ... and plan to get a running start at that "To Do" List you have posted prominently somewhere on Monday. Starting today (Tuesday) at Noon (MT) until Friday ... it's down-time big time!! ... for everyone.
