Mercury conjunct Neptune in Aquarius
Opposing Saturn in Leo

So ... we have a complex arrangement involving Mercury at the moment -- which forecasts a "whole lotta thinkin' going on" ... much of which involves the discovery of new information, revision of plans, and coming up with ideas that let you think differently about the prospects and choices facing you today. Notice that Mercury will sextile Pluto in the first aspect of a three aspect pass starting Wednesday evening, and this influence doesn't resolve itself (or your "mind-changing moments") until late March, since Mercury will retrograde the day before Valentine's and not move out of its own shadow from that event until March 26.

If you have placements in your Natal Chart near 19 - 23° of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, or Aquarius ... life may bring some critical matters for you to handle during the next few weeks, most likely through a set of thorny, frustrating, and hard to solve problems that demand your attention now!! The added complications in an already vexing situation will be described by the symbolism of this extra placement in your chart, and the sign and house in which it resides.

If you have placements in your Natal Chart near 19 - 23° of Aries, Gemini, Libra, or Sagittarius, you have "built-in help" from other life areas and personal talents that can show you how to work with the energy of this complex opposition ... and bring its challenges to a satisfying (and possibly very happy / profitable / instructive) conclusion.

For a time some of that "natural help" I described earlier is available to everyone ... so life may not seem too upsetting for a while. In fact, for the next several days the optimism of options will be right at your elbow ... and some brainstorming of things to consider and try if the consequences of this opposition really start to cause you problems ... would help a lot. Write them down. (Don't trust your memory.) Keep the list where you can lay your hands on it ... and remember it exists. Mercury / Neptune oppositions don't think straight under stress ... and Saturn oppositions represent stress ... I promise you.

Emergency preparedness instructions always say to have a well-defined, well-understood, well-rehearsed "survival" plan in place ahead of time. You don't want to have to make things up as you go along ... or when you're trying to stay cool in a crisis. Gemini energy is a terrific time to think creatively and map out alternatives. Cancer energy (which arrives Monday afternoon and lasts until late Wednesday night) brings great support for intuition and "safety concerns." This month, the Moon in both those signs has good support. So, use this time wisely.
