Venus in Aries

When Venus is in Aries, people are forward, assertive, expressive, uninhibited, even domineering in their relationships. They use direct declarations and "seizing the initiative" to attract love -- and express their romantic feelings in bold, competitive, daring and passionate gestures. They want very much to win their lover's attention and affections -- and are quite enthusiastic in pursuit of their beloved.

The mood of the Moon in Taurus is peaceful, patient, and willing to take life "one step at a time." This evening's tone can be melancholy though, as from Taurus the Moon forms an uncomfortable T-square with the Saturn in Leo / Neptune in Aquarius opposition currently in the sky ... and both Moon / Saturn and Moon / Neptune aspects promote depression.

It's a passing moment though (or a passing few hours to be more exact), coming late at night ... so those of you on the East Coast and in the Central Time Zone will probably sleep through it without problems. For those on the West Coast who may have to cope with it toward bedtime though, take a hint from Taurus' own comfort-loving habits. Make some hot cocoa, go to bed early ... and get some extra snooze-time while life straightens itself out again. Friday's mood is just better all the way around.
