The Sun in Pisces conjunct Uranus in Pisces

The Sun is the metaphor for your self-image, basic character and personal direction. Uranus is the metaphor for freedom, ingenuity, independence, and the drive to be who you really are ... often in unusual and unexpected ways. Pisces is a sign devoted to spirituality, artistic and creative interests, healing and therapeutic concerns, and is deeply committed to pursuing private paths of study that may be deeply meaningful to you. This conjunction combines all these features now to forecast the imminent arrival of some sudden opportunity, new insight, or abrupt decision to bring these elements more completely into your daily life.

Sun / Uranus conjunctions describe moments of quick, urgent change, often because of unexpected events or intense personal choices that take hold and insist that you act on them, now, now, now!! There is an obsessive / compulsive quality associated with the most dramatic of these ... as if you all at once come to some "fated" decision or fork in the road ... or are literally handed an offer you just can't resist -- or refuse.

If you have placements in your Natal Chart near 15° of any sign ... this aspect may hold special treats ... or at least special significance for you ... bringing a decision to break free of restraints in explosive, decisive ways ... and live a completely different kind of life. As I've said, this combination can be anything from "urgent and intense" to "wild and crazy." Which one it will be for you depends a lot on your basic character, the nature of the other planet(s) involved in this pattern, the house which contains this transiting conjunction -- and the areas of life assigned to it.

The Moon in Libra this month finds a congenial, pleasant climate that is mighty welcome, all things considered. The Moon goes void of course in Libra at 12:51 this afternoon (MT) and moves into Scorpio 3:17 this afternoon. Personally, I think this sounds like a great invitation to take a late lunch and go do some window shopping ... and I might, if I didn't have to drive 45 minutes to get anywhere from where I live. Maybe I'll just listen to music and sort through some old email instead. But you may find the late lunch / window shopping idea a wonderful suggestion.

The Moon in Scorpio makes no aspects today, so you can enjoy its observant, contemplative energy without feeling driven to respond right away ... and without having to accept that anything you do try won't come to anything. The early Moon in Scorpio, while unfocused this afternoon, is still poised to be mighty productive over the next 2 1/2 days. So consider this afternoon and evening a "blank check" you can write to yourself ... and spend in any way you choose.
