The Sun in Pisces square
Pluto in Sagittarius

Just after mid-April, once the Sun moves all the way through Aries, these two will shake hands and become great partners -- temporarily. But for the moment, as the Sun prepares to exit Pisces tonight ... and Pluto prepares to retrograde in Sagittarius on the last day of this month, they're sniping at each other like a pair of disappointed lovers. Fortunately, as I noted, this, too, is temporary, but it forecasts a climate we still have to travel through -- until the winds of fortune change and these two are ready to kiss and make-up.

Both Pisces and Sagittarius deal with matters of faith and philosophy. Pisces is mystical; Sagittarius is academic. You'd think since they're both working with matters of knowledge and "belief" -- reaching for the same thing, when you get right down to it -- they'd get along better. But a simple look at history shows how viciously The Church and Science have opposed each other in the past ... and a glance at contemporary news shows the struggle continues.

Both signs (and both institutions) seek to define reality, to explain life and the world in acceptable terms, to comprehend things like meaning, purpose, and one's relationship to Divinity -- or one's reason for being. They also set forth certain principles or "unassailable concepts" on which they base ethical values and fundamental "laws" -- and invite the whole world to fall in line behind the ideas and become "true believers." In fact, they each insist on it.

Yep ... Science vs. Theology. It's tough for any person to have one foot in each camp and be the least bit comfortable with the split. Neither side wants to compromise ... and each keeps pushing him to make a choice!! (Are you for us ... or against us? Which is it ... you can't have both.) Well, sometimes you can have both ... but for the most part, it's sure not easy. And life in the next couple of weeks will hand you some good examples that prove my point ... as quandaries that pit "what you believe in your well-educated head" against "what you believe in your spiritual soul" arrive and ask you to make a choice ... find some common ground ... hammer out a compromise ... or continue to live with the increasing discomfort of trying to be both-fish-and-fowl, perhaps indefinitely. (Well, at the beginning of this text, I hinted this wasn't going to be easy -- or fun.)

If you have Natal Chart placements near 29° of Gemini, Virgo, Pisces, or Sagittarius (or, obviously 0° of Aries, Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn since we're on the threshold of the change over point!), this particular pattern may bring lots of action, opportunity, learning experiences, and extra aggravation on these "matters of principle" to your life -- as other areas of interest are drawn into the adjustments, dilemmas, and (dubious -- or at least highly disguised) benefits!

The Moon in Aries is so productive today, you may not recognize yourself for all the ambition. The Moon in Aries formed a terrific Grand Fire Trine with Saturn in Leo on one side, Jupiter in Sagittarius and Pluto in Sagittarius on the other ... with a sextile to Mars in Aquarius for good measure in the early morning. So the problems I've just described at length may not ruffle your world at all today. In fact, today may be a taste of the Great Reconciliation I promised coming in late April. It's a day for the Fire and Air signs in your character to stretch out and enjoy. (And since this is 70% of my chart ... wow, do I plan to follow that advice!!)

The The Void of Course Moon in Aries around 9:30 (MT) tonight and moves into Taurus around 11:15 (MT.) The Sun enters Aries (Welcome to Spring!!) this evening at 6:08 (MT). Stand back, so you don't get knocked over by the cheering!! The Lunar climate tomorrow is also looking good. Just don't let this calm before the storm convince you the storm itself has dropped off the radar somehow ... somewhere.
