Venus in Taurus sextile Uranus in Pisces
Square Saturn in Leo square Neptune in Aquarius

Venus is playing another triple bill this week with connections to Uranus, Saturn, and Neptune ... the aspects forming between 16 and 21°. Last month's celestial samba, however, was much more pleasant than this one will likely be. Venus in this month's array is unhappy and despondent as her charms and blandishments get back nothing but sour looks and "wishful thinking." She moves into Gemini next ... on the 11th, where she'll be lots happier. Social butterfly that she is, Venus loves having more than one love interest to keep her occupied!

The first aspect, the sextile with Uranus in Pisces suggests the decision to enjoy some artistic pursuit, pleasurable entertainment, private time ... or the luxury of time spent with someone who shares a "soul connection" to you and your interests. It's a minor but pleasant invitation to a diversion ... the spontaneous decision to "treat yourself to something special" ... based on the recognition that you deserve a little extra helping of joy in your life. If you can spend this time with your Special Someone ... all the better!! (Remember our decision to go get doughnuts the other night? That's exactly the sort of thing this could show.)

It's also the sort of impulse you could squash, if you decide to treat it that way. Your choice. But if you brush it off because you haven't got time ... or the invitation to play is just too frivolous, it's a sad moment of deprivation you might reconsider. Especially if such grim grumpiness has become your way of life. That gloomy nose-to-the-grindstone feeling is easy to find this month. Saturn / Venus squares bring a feeling of being put-upon and unappreciated because of all the stuff you have to do and the fact that you don't see nearly enough rewards for your work ... yet

If you have Natal Chart placements near 16 - 21° of any sign, this pattern will affect you by drawing even more issues into the dramas and invitations that unfold in the next few weeks. Placements in these degrees of Taurus, Leo, Aquarius ... or (heaven help us) Scorpio (!!!) may bring particularly strong moments of feeling deprived and unloved ... and powerful dreams and wishes to cobble up something more satisfying!!!

You may be especially advised to grab those little private moments of happiness I mentioned in the very beginning and make the most of them ... even if it's just a impulsive decision to meet your spouse or lover for lunch (or ... a "quickie!!") ... and promise each other something more substantial when there's more time, more money, or just "more" of whatever is missing now. Venus in Gemini may bring you this soon. It's not like you'll have to wait forever.

The Moon in Cancer is in passionate, secretive Scorpio all day. But once again it forms no exact aspects ... until 7:43 AM (MT) Thursday. (And once again ... no little pink boxes at the bottom of this Ezine.) It's another "blank check" day for you to spend as you like ... without the aggravation of having to work on the routine, boring, "housekeeping stuff required by a The Void of Course Moon. You can start stuff you want to finish and perfect now. Just don't push too hard on it tomorrow. Let it find its own form ... and let life show you the best way to continue with the project as better, more productive ideas (and bits of information) arrive between now and this time next week.

Your biggest challenge tomorrow will be "staying focused." Diversions, side-tracks, and those daydreams I mentioned ... will all be part of the scenery. Your own self-discipline will determine how much you actually get done ... and on what. So if you really want the time to drift and dream ... go ahead. And if you'd rather buckle down on something you either need to do ... or want to explore and learn about ... or want to at least get started on ... you can do that, too. You'll just have to direct it every step of the way. Again ... it's your choice. Such are the freedoms and follies of a "blank check day." And yes, we have seen an unusual number of them lately. It's due to some unusual patterns in the sky right now. These little treats ... or so many of them every whipstitch ... won't last forever.
