Mars in Cancer sextile Saturn in Virgo
Mid March through Early April

Ok, let's make some quick notes about the Mars in Cancer sextile to Saturn in Virgo that formed in the sky a few days ago. Normally, this blend would create more of a stir ... but this year, it's kind of lost in the flurry of action stirred up by the recent aspects of Mercury and Venus.

The Mars / Saturn sextile, however, is part of the mix -- as you see from the chart I published a day or so ago. (The solid green arrow / solid red arrow segment.) But (believe it or not) I do try to keep the Ezines on one topic at a time, and I try to keep them from being three miles long, which is harder than it sounds when there's lots happening at once. So today, the Mars / Saturn sextile gets its own issue ... for the aspect that formed at 4°.

The Moon in Virgo goes void of course today ... around 1:30 PM, MT. Time to tend to those routine, boring "housekeeping" chores that keep life running smoothly -- or just settle back and take it easy for a while. (Assuming that fussy, carping Virgo Moon will let you do anything that looks "lazy.") The Full Moon in Libra arrives tomorrow, and the energy then is messy for several reasons. Personally, I'd suggest you get some extra rest and be ready to dodge the slings and arrows of whatever life decides to throw your direction Friday. But, as always, you get to make the choice. Just don't start anything important until Monday. (That day actually looks pretty good!!)

These can be anything from peculiar little interruptions that get in your way or lead you off on tangents (and wild goose chases!!) to sudden moments when you wind up lost in reverie, fantasies, daydreams, memories, or wishful thinking. Mercury in Pisces sextile Pluto in Capricorn

Well, as I noted yesterday, Mercury, newly arrived in Pisces is following along at a quickening pace in the same footprints Venus left only days ago ... forming the same relationships with Pluto, Saturn and Mars this week. This indicates ideas and information -- based on powerful intuition -- following briskly in the wake of our energized relationships and financial interests. Other people are, after all, channels of knowledge ... who can bring opportunities for more profit and income ... if you examine "hidden possibilities" ... and use your imagination. As with Venus, these aspects all formed around 3°.

The same signs (and energies) are at work in the same areas of life -- and Natal Chart houses -- as I described with Venus yesterday. Certainly your mind and imagination are set to go into overdrive, and stay that way for a few weeks ... following leads, making improvements, and yet finding precious little encouragement from people who could help with your efforts -- or at least give you a thumbs-up moment of support.

In fact, you may be so gun-shy about this hypercritical, wet-blanket atmosphere, you'll keep your bright thoughts to yourself rather than see them pummeled and shredded by Virgo's critical analysis. (I mean to tell you, when nit-picky Virgo starts beating up on super-sensitive Pisces ... it is painful to watch, let alone experience!!)

Your biggest problem, if you just keep quiet, will be handling the harsh voice of your own Inner Critic -- especially if you have either Virgo or Pisces placements in your Natal Chart. At least that keeps the quarrel "in the family," so to speak ... instead of putting it out onstage where the whole passing world can enjoy the brawl. With my Natal Mercury in Pisces, that's certainly the strategy I stick with ... but you can make your own choices.

We have a pair of triple aspects to talk about this week as Venus and Mercury, newly arrived in Pisces begin forming relationships with Pluto, Saturn and Mars that are echoes of one another -- so expect your involvement with partners, money, ideas and communication to get quite a work-out over the next few weeks.

There are benefits to reap here -- and some frustrations from that Saturn opposition, too -- as your inspired thoughts and loving gestures get -- at best -- a tepid reception from "other people" ... who have their own agendas going, their own axes to grind, and who don't have a lot of time or sympathy for you and whatever's on your mind.
