These can be anything from peculiar little interruptions that get in your way or lead you off on tangents (and wild goose chases!!) to sudden moments when you wind up lost in reverie, fantasies, daydreams, memories, or wishful thinking. All at once you "come to" and realize you've been busy watching the movie in your mind, staring into space, and living in another reality for minutes and minutes.

Time has slipped away, you've accomplished nothing practical, but getting back on schedule is an aggravating grind. It'll certainly make you cranky, but you'd be wise to find another way to work with this particular stress.

The worrisome thing about the contact these two make this year is the fact that retrograde Mars is still well within range to form a valid opposition ... so bland words like "renegotiation" and "release" could actually come with a lot more firepower and fury behind them than is normally the case. I've talked about volatile relationships as a feature of Mars / Pluto oppositions already this month.

(And not to bear down too hard on this point, but Mars / Pluto oppositions can also indicate dangerous, violent conflict in relationships ... serious problems with people whose tempers and stress levels are way, way, way out of control. This caution lasts a good long while yet -- clear through April as far as I'm concerned. This is not a pattern to monkey with or take lightly. I know that's a long time to keep your guard up and walk softly ... but that's also a real wise thing to do now.)
