The first set of Virgo annual forecast readings have
been mailed. This covers those with Virgo birthdays in the last part
of August, or Virgo Moon or Virgo Ascendant placements in the first 10
degrees of the sign.
If you have a late August Virgo birthday ... or a Virgo Moon or
Ascendant between 0 degrees and 10 degrees of the sign and you have
not gotten your forecast in the email in the past few days, we
need to hear from you.
The next set of Virgo forecasts will go out around the 13th of September
and will cover those with birthdays in the first part of September or
with placements earlier than 20 degrees of the sign.

Well, we've talked about the Sun in Virgo ... and the
Moon in Virgo. Now let's have a look at what a Virgo Ascendant brings
to a person's character. So ... do you have Virgo Rising? (Also known
as a Virgo Ascendant? Those two terms are interchangeable in an
astrologer's vocabulary?) Do you have a friend or loved one with Virgo
Rising?
Virgo is a modest, self-effacing, and down-to-earth energy that loves to
be helpful, loves to stay busy, but also wants the work it performs ...
and the conditions in which it operates ... to be "just so." It has
its own way of doing things ... and very few people can live up to its
exacting standards, with its close attention to details and its eternal
"fussiness" when it comes to little things.
There is also a touch of prissiness attached to Virgo energy that is
considered more attractive in women than in men -- but there it is
nevertheless. Remember Felix, the "tidy one" in The Odd Couple?
That's Virgo energy at its best and in all its glory -- splitting
hairs over the differences between linguine and spaghetti ... and
wiping up condensation rings on the coffee table so they don't mar the
finish.
Folks with Virgo Moons are the helping hands and motherly fuss-budgets
that nonetheless work themselves to an exhausted, shivering heap to
make the lives of their family members run more smoothly -- but you'd
better not leave footprints behind on the carpet they just vacuumed, or
you'll never hear the end of it.
There is a price tag attached to Virgo's generosity -- but they
usually want payment from an audience who listens with guilt and
sympathy to their complaints about how unappreciated they are. (Ok,
they have a point. It's just that they make it incessantly!)
People with Sun in Virgo really need a special area of life where
the work they do makes a difference, where their meticulous attention
to detail and their critical skills spells the difference between a
mediocre performance and a masterpiece. Virgos excel at the "behind
the scenes," precision crafting, and microscopically refined skills
that separate the true artists from the rest of the crowd ... and
perform work whose fine execution most of us can't match on the best
day of our lives.
Virgo Rising drives a person to give his best ... and encourages
him to judge others by that same standard. Virgo Rising is always
ready with the incisive remark about how something (or someone) could
be improved. The operative word there is "incisive" ... for while he
doesn't mean to be cutting and critical (or at least sometimes
he doesn't mean it!) ... that's often how he comes across ... the
killjoy, the wet blanket, the one who points out the tiny bruised spot
on the otherwise lovely piece of fruit.
He motivates others to bring up the level of their own performance ...
and he keeps them ever-vigilant for the flaws he's sure to find if they
don't stay one jump ahead of him. He really doesn't understand that
this kind of scrutiny doesn't feel much like love to a lot of people
... because the idea that anyone would settle for being less than her
best -- well, it baffles him. Let's just call him the Quality
Assurance Manager of the Zodiac, 'cause for sure, that's a title he'll
wear proudly.

The Moon goes void of course
at 7:22 Saturday
evening (Mountain Time).
Then, for the next few days, life's natural energy
levels are at their lowest ebb in preparation for a time of new
initiatives and new beginnings that will come with the New Moon in
Virgo on Tuesday morning (8:29 AM MT). This is a time astrologers call
"The Dark of the Moon" ... which is conducive to bringing matters to a
close, tying up loose ends, resting, planning, being quiet and
reflective.
For the next couple of days, don't start anything new. For sure
don't start anything important. It will not come to fruition.
Wait for the better, more positive change in outlook and opportunities
that will arrive later this week. You'll be glad you did.

Today ... Saturday, September 11 ... is, of course,
a
