We are getting reports that HOTMAIL is not correctly delivering the emails we send (again!!) This morning I am also hearing from personal friends with HOTMAIL accounts that their personal email is not going out correctly. HOTMAIL may be either having problems or making changes. If you have a HOTMAIL account, there are instructions at the end of this Ezine where to go if your Ezines aren't delivered properly, and you can always check the Premium Members Notice Board to see if something has been sent.

I will have more information on the site in the next few days to help deal with this.

Meanwhile, if you have an AOL address ... or a webmail address from HOTMAIL, or Yahoo ... you may find that there are intermittent problems with the way they handle mail. Spam filters they install and other changes they make may require that you adjust your settings or create a "safe list" in order to keep mail from being filtered into "junk mail" folders ... or deflected entirely. HOTMAIL and Yahoo in particular do not always tell you when this has happened ... all you know is you aren't getting mail from us ... and we seem to ignore your complaints.

We are working on a way to address this matter ... again, on internet real estate we control ... a place where we can set notices that you can access on the website when we need to get in touch with you, since we clearly cannot control the way AOL, HOTMAIL, and Yahoo behave. (And obviously, our continuing to heave email at a mailbox that either isn't accepting our messages -- or is not delivering them where you usually think to look for them -- does not solve the problem.)

We are not the only website with this problem by any means. If you have an AOL, HOTMAIL, or Yahoo email address and you are not receiving responses you expect from us ... or perhaps from other sites with whom you are trying to correspond ... check your junk mail folders ... and see if the mail is being funneled into there. (Sometimes it is ... sometimes it's not. Sometimes it's just being deflected completely.)

Meanwhile ... if you are expecting a response to one of the reading features you've used, and notification that it is ready hasn't arrived within five business days of your order ... please check the following webpages. Your readings, when they are finished, are posted there, and you can find them ... bypassing the need for email notification entirely -- and solving the problem of "missing mail" at least in some small (and temporary) way. (Virtually ALL readings are ready for viewing within three business days of our receiving your request!)
