The Zodiac sign of Leo is ruled by The Sun, the planet considered the defining element in an Astrological chart. Your Sun Sign is the sign of the Zodiac that contained The Sun when you were born. The Sun stays in a sign for approximately one month ... and is therefore the easiest of the three fundamental facets in a Natal Chart to determine. Your Sun Sign is the sign you name when someone asks the infamous question: "What's your sign?"

For about 2 1/2 days of every month, the Moon is in Leo. If the Moon was in Leo when you were born, you have a strong component of Leo's proud, vital, charismatic character in your personality in addition to your Sun Sign whatever your Sun Sign may be.
