Twitter Talk

Twitter Talk consists of a basic, bare-bones listing of things I posted on my twitter-line throughout the days / weeks / months. They are necessarily very short -- because Twitter forces that through their interface format, but it's usually enough to get the message. These are random thoughts, quotes, links to things on our site that I posted there, links to interesting articles on other people's sites I posted there, information that can help you find interesting writers and posters ... if you're a Twitter subscriber and know how to use what they do.

Essentially, I'm building these pages to cope with the limitations of Twitter's absolutely awful lack of archives and the clumsy impediments of their java-extendible pages. After a while, you simply cannot get to older posts on anybody's list. There's an awful lot of interesting stuff being lost as a result, and while I hate to see that happen, my little piece of real estate -- microscopic as it is -- is all I control.

There are things I've found that I don't want to lose forever, things I've posted that I don't want to lose at all ... and with Twitter as it stands, that's going to start happening any day now -- as I write this ... August 16, 2009.

So while I can still make my relatively small twitter-line function without jamming my computer with multiple-upon-multiple java extensions asking for "more," I'm slicing out my own archives and posting them here ... where I can find them as easily, as often and as long as I want. (Twitter's TOS explicitly state "What's Yours Is Yours." They make no claim to possession of anyone's intellectual property.)

Although these pages, as I said, are mainly for me, you're welcome to browse them ... and stay a while. You'll find some neat stuff inside if you do, along with little pieces of marginalia and trivia. These are not complete, as I'm only slicing out and saving "the cream of the crop." And if, after reading a while, you decide you'd like to stay current on what's happening right now on my twitter line, you can find me at @enchantedspirit ... and I will be most pleased to welcome you to the audience.
