The Connection
by Julie Jordan ScottYou have heard it before. Stories of a small women lifting a car off a child or other endangered people right as something disastrous was about to take place. Some people may refer to this as adrenaline energy. My belief is different.
The strength to lift that car is rooted in the focused, driven, intentional human being aligning with the most powerful source available: the divine, the Universal Life Force " whatever term you use" which allows each person to have more energy, more strength, more ability, more of anything and everything we could possibly need or desire.
For a brief moment in time, lifting a car is no big deal for the small woman because it is NOT her "all alone, by herself, just a small woman" which is giving her the strength. It is her alliance with the Divine which makes the "impossible" absolutely possible.
As she lifted the car she stopped "thinking" using her ego (edging god out) intellect. Instead, she listened with her mind-heart intellect which told her "You can lift the car now."
When we step into and integrate the knowing of the mind-heart intellect we can access any form of strength, not only the power of lifting weight beyond "our" ego means. It is in that mind-heart intellect we are connected to the Divine and to that cord of light that brings us to the creator and attracts us vividly to one another.
We suddenly "get" that our abundant provision is NOT from human institutions, our jobs, the government, our spouse or our family. It is from the divine and our partnership with the divine.
We step into that partnership, into that connection, and the barest truth of who we are becomes crystal clear.
Do your thinking not from the ego-intellect, do your thinking from the heart-mind intellect. Speaking in a duet with artist and writer Natalie Goldberg, "Be who you are, breathe fully, be alive and don't forget to LIVE".
