Many times when a storm is coming some people like to go indoors and hide, due to being afraid. I am one of those people that normally likes to stay and watch. I love the feeling, the electricity in the air, the smell of the rain. Its all so dramatic and I often think of how we have no control over the weather. It's a part of our lives, that we generally have to accept and learn to live with. So, much like the bad times in our lives.

Often, we have to accept them or we can learn to deal with them, with a joyful attitude of thanks. I am not saying, be thankful for the bad times, but just to be thankful for all things. It does take time to learn to live that way. I know when I'm having problems, it's not easy, but if I remember, I have so much to look forward to, when the good times come, it helps. Again, just like the storm.

After its all over, the clouds move on, the sun comes out, the darkness goes away and the smell of newness and freshness are in the air. We need the rain and clouds in our lives as well as the good times and sun. Also, if we look just right, we may see that huge, bright, beautiful rainbow, that tells us, "Yes, life is good and after the dark clouds go, there is always the rainbow of hope."
