What is Magic?

The word "magic" often brings up images of rabbits being pulled out of hats or objects disappearing into thin air. Magic can seem foreign and strange when, in actuality, magic is an everyday affair. Magic is simply the study of intention.

We use magic everyday without knowing it. Every time we have an intention, and then act on that intention, we have used magic. Even our language is shaped around intention, with phrases like, "I intend to complete the project on time" or "I aim to please."

Our intentions create our reality. For example, I recently focused my intention on increasing my income. Within a week, I received several calls from business acquaintances asking me to consult with them. The result? I now have 2 additional clients and a definite increase in income!

Magic is using intention deliberately and precisely to achieve the desired outcome. The first step to using intention deliberately is awareness. Awareness means observing how you currently use your intention.

Does your intention change day-to-day, or do you keep your intention focused in a single direction? Focused intention creates your desired reality quickly while changing intentions produce mixed results.

Tip: Intention is like driving a car. Drive a straight deliberate path toward your destination and you'll get there rapidly. Make zig-zags and detours, equivalent to changing your mind, and you'll still get you there " but slowly. Observe your intention and see where it takes you!
