The Full Moon in Aquarius Opposing Sun in Leo
The second opposition between the Aquarius Moon and the Sun in Leo took place yesterday afternoon. This means there were two full moons during Leo this year ... with the latest opposition occurring at 29° of the two respective signs. Placements at 29° of a sign, whether in the sky at the moment or in a chart for a birth or an event always depict something that is coming to an end, and an emergency that may erupt soon.
In this case, there is a crisis point due to arrive between the need for personal attention ... and the admiration of those around you ... and the need for greater emotional independence, especially the ability to say what you really feel. The tension between an "image" you're trying to maintain and the desire to experiment with some radical new ideas -- ones which might not be all that popular -- may bear down pretty hard in the next couple of weeks.
There is a tremendous restlessness in the air now, and relationships may be especially hard to manage without somebody kicking up dust somewhere. So, look for some old familiar structures to break away ... and maybe some old familiar problems, too. It's a real good time for setting up new and better arrangements ... so consider what you want, and get ready to act on that!
If your Sun, Moon or Ascendant is in Aries: The tension is between your desire for loads of appreciation for yourself and your creative efforts ... and your desire to break out into a whole new level of living where you don't have to dance to anybody's tune any more. A crisis involving the future of some personal creation may be brewing.
If your Sun, Moon or Ascendant is in Taurus: The tension is between your desire to be the center of attention in your family circle, able to direct the course of your own private life pretty much according to your wishes ... and your desire for more public credit, more professional recognition, and even a certain level of "fame" for your special talents and efforts. A crisis involving career and family interests may ensue.
If your Sun, Moon or Ascendant is in Gemini: The tension is between your pride in your own ideas and your desire to be noticed for the knowledge you have ... and your emotional infatuation with philosophies and notions that others might consider radical, foreign, eccentric, and "too far out" to be respectable. A crisis involving an intellectual break-through, a shift in viewpoints, or an ethical dilemma may result.
If your Sun, Moon or Ascendant is in Cancer: The tension is between your pride in the way you handle money and material assets -- or the ways you generate income ... and the instability you may have to handle regarding a partner (or another part of your personality!!) who wants more independence for himself when it comes to issues of joint property and communal assets. A need to compromise your values in the face of an emergency may be looming.
If your Sun, Moon or Ascendant is in Leo: The tension is between your desire to be loved and appreciated for the wonderful soul you know you are ... and your emotional connection to a partner who, for the moment at least, may seem anything but stable. A decision about the future conduct of your marriage or a close personal partnership may be on the horizon.
If your Sun, Moon or Ascendant is in Virgo: The tension is between your desire for rest, solitude, and maybe quiet time for introspection and healing ... and unpredictable, emotionally draining conditions that involve your work and possibly your physical health. A crisis involving physical and psychological stress -- and your ability to continue working "as usual" -- may soon present itself.
If your Sun, Moon or Ascendant is in Libra: The tension is between your plans for the future ... and the vision you are building on which to create them ... and your desire to have a lot more fun and a lot less routine in your life. A crisis involving who you really are now and who you want to become is playing out in the present circumstances of your life.
If your Sun, Moon or Ascendant is in Scorpio: The tension is between the conduct of your professional responsibilities and your ability to really shine there ... and volatile conditions at home, including the desire to break away from family restrictions and responsibilities. A crisis involving choices between career interests and family interests may be lining up for your attention.
If your Sun, Moon or Ascendant is in Sagittarius: The tension is between your need to be a good example with the philosophical and ethical choices you make ... and your fascination with some far-reaching new ideas that might seem "too extreme" or too progressive for popular consumption. A crisis brought on by a whole new approach to living, a completely different perspective on the rules you play by, may be getting ready to show itself in your world.
If your Sun, Moon or Ascendant is in Capricorn: The tension is between your commitment to some joint enterprise, a teamwork effort that involves your talents and those of partners ... and some shifting personal values that don't take kindly to "rules and regulations" any more. A crisis involving money ... and the need for some radical changes, including the "end" of something you've supported for a while ... is likely to erupt soon.
If your Sun, Moon or Ascendant is in Aquarius: The tension is between your need to be emotionally true to your own feelings and able to act on your independent impulses ... and your need to honor your commitments to other people who may be depending now on your partnership arrangements. A crisis involving whether you put your needs first or the other person's needs first may be brewing.
If your Sun, Moon or Ascendant is in Pisces: The tension is between your need to be of service to other people and turn in a job well done ... and your own emotional fragility ... which may be close to a serious breaking point. A crisis involving just how much you should have to "give" in order to meet your work obligations and make the lives of others easier is about to put this situation to the test.
