Mars in Cancer Conjunct Jupiter in Cancer
The Mars / Jupiter conjunction represents an expansion of initiative, a time of extraordinary energy and ambition, the willingness to take more risks ... and move to increase all the good things in life -- most especially money. It's also a time of acting on new knowledge ... and with a deep concern for the ethics of your behavior.
This is an energy combination often known for dramatic gestures and "over-doing" in its drive to make the most of opportunities, but it's also a period of proving to yourself what can be done with zeal and effort. It supports extreme optimism and large-scale projects ... and unless 23° of Cancer is afflicted in your Natal Chart ... this self-assurance is not unfounded.
Even if 23° of Cancer is a problem in your chart ... you'll simply find you've over-committed yourself, probably bitten off more than you can comfortably chew, and need to scramble wildly to cover all the bases you want to claim -- but the benefits of this kind of "extension and enterprise" will still be marvelous in the end. You'll certainly get more return on your investment than if you hadn't launched the projects you're about to dive into ... at all.
The last Mars / Jupiter conjunction took place in Taurus in April 2000. and the last Mars / Jupiter conjunction in Cancer was in August, 1966.
