There are a couple of interesting things going on in the sky at the moment that bode well for relationships ... and money. One is the trine Venus has made to Pluto ... and the other is the sextile Venus has made to Mercury. In a nutshell, this marks a shift in the way you approach your relationships so that communications becomes easier (or at least more honest) and the positive intensity of emotions you feel -- and express -- can better support your associations ... and the people in them.
It also points to a change in your inner values ... so that the way you use money now brings more benefits -- both to you and to the people who share the benefits of your material wealth. And because energy flows in both directions, you also have access to better channels of income and better ideas for generating income.

Venus in Aries trines Pluto in Sagittarius
This marks a time when new and more sophisticated insights regarding "what love is all about" bring themselves to your consciousness. Because of the signs involved, this needs to apply to a broad, humanitarian outlook on life -- rather than in a strictly romantic sense.
You may find circumstances in the next several weeks where a very altruistic kind of love and support can provide substantial benefit and growth to both you ... and the recipient.
The assertive, direct handling of money, possessions, and relationships can help demonstrate and strengthen some of your more theoretical beliefs and philosophical rules for living. You may see new ways to apply what you know (and what you believe) to the relationships and other people in your life. The results may teach you how to live a more integrated and honest lifestyle.
The changes you make in your thinking -- and your relationships -- over the next several weeks will be worthwhile, positive, constructive, and transforming for all concerned. It's a time when significant improvements are possible.
The same holds true with regard to money. The way you use money now to support your philosophy of life will reap rewards further down the road that have an almost "fated" quality, because of Pluto's connection to karmic agendas. Money used to further your education will be especially beneficial. (Realize, this doesn't have to happen on an academic level at all. "Education" comes in many guises. A book you buy, for instance, or a new subject of study that catches your fancy ... or just a new idea ... may make an important difference in your life's direction now.)
This is an easy, comfortable transit ... that might pass mostly unnoticed unless you know what to look for -- and what the significance might be.

Venus in General -- Your Inner Selves of Resource Management and Relationships ---> Support comes in many forms -- According to dime-store astrology ... the kind most people know from the little booklets they buy on newstands ... Venus in Astrology rules the two alluring topics of money and love. Like Mercury, Venus rules two Zodiac signs -- Taurus and Libra, and there is, indeed, a connection here between Venus ... money ... and love.
What Does Venus Represent in Your Natal Chart? -- What is it ... and why is it important? ---> Pink is a Venus color. -- Named for the goddess of love -- Venus, modestly shrouded in clouds when photographed, is named for the mythological goddess of love. It is often seen as the evening star -- so bright and shimmering some say it gets mistaken for a UFO. Maybe. Maybe not.
Venus Retrograde -- Realigning Your Values and Assets ---> Reassessing things of value ... -- Venus represents your important relationships, your important values, and the way you handle the things you value, especially material resources like money and possessions you need to support yourself.
Your Venus Energy -- So much more than love and money ---> Named for the goddess of love -- Venus the planet, and therefore Venus in Astrology, is named for the Roman goddess of love. That's the short definition of what she symbolizes, and the minute people hear that, their ears perk up and they want to know more, more, more. Her Greek counterpart was Aphrodite, but that's not the "more" people want to hear. Like all short-and-simple answers to complex questions though, this one is misleading and woefully incomplete.
Pluto Retrograde -- Rebuilding in the Wake of Revolution ---> Pluto -- death and resurrection -- Pluto. If you know anything at all about the symbolism of this strange, erratic, controversial planet (which some scientists don't consider a planet at all, and other scientists consider part of a double planet set along with its own Moon, Charon, with whom it shares an atmosphere), you know it represents situations and experiences that deserve more than passing respect.
Pluto Retrograde in Capricorn -- Originally written April 2009 ---> The long relentless break-down -- Transiting Pluto -- both direct and retrograde -- depicts the loooooong-term process of tearing down and improving things that are worn out, exhausted, inappropriate, obsolete, ineffective and falling into ruin.
Pluto -- The Symbol of Irresistible Change ---> When things change ... drastically -- Pluto. If the idea of this planet and all its metaphorical meanings, all the things it symbolizes out in the real world, don't cause the hair to ripple on the back of your neck and an inward shudder to pass through the core of your body like a sudden gust of frigid wind, well, then you don't know it like I do.
Pluto: Ruler of Scorpio -- Symbol of Your Transformative, Regenerative Self ---> Pluto, with its bizarre, irregular orbit, is the last of the discovered planets in this Solar System which the basic metaphorical language of astrology contains. Occasionally it is the outermost of the known planets, although during part of its journey around the Sun it moves inside the orbit of Neptune.
