The Moon Void-of-Course
A long void-of-course Moon period consumes the whole business day today in the U.S. From 6 AM until 6:30 PM (Mountain Time) the Moon is void-of-course in Virgo. From there, it moves into Libra.
I have a lot of things to catch up on while this v/c time happens -- so I'm looking forward to it. This page will change sometime during the day. That's part of the v/c Moon's business in fact -- things begun that don't come to fruition -- or that change (sometimes substantially) before they reach their final result.
Mercury Sextile Uranus
June 9, 2019
Mercury in Cancer has formed the departing sextile with Uranus in Taurus. This is a stimulating cerebral combination that ignites your intellect and puts your mind in motion. This energy promotes cleverness, ingenuity and intellectual innovation. It links your mind smoothly to your inventiveness and originality, and the exchange there can be exciting, entertaining, enlightening and fun!

Venus Trine Pluto
Venus in Taurus has formed a trine with Pluto in Capricorn, which happens a couple of times a year. So on the one hand, it's fairly common ... but on the other hand, the approaching Saturn / Pluto conjunction (coming January 2020) lends this one extra significance. More and more, you're want to make the things Venus represents -- money, relationships, material assets, close associations -- more solid and reliable. That's Saturn's work.

Venus Trine Saturn
Venus in Taurus has formed a trine with Saturn in Capricorn. Again we have two planets in their home signs, this time in an Earth trine. Together, they can produce something solid and valuable -- the kind of results you can spend. Venus in Taurus knows how to attract assets and work sensibly with money. Saturn in Capricorn knows how to invest in durable projects and build things that last.

Mercury in Cancer II
Mercury, Astrology's symbol for your mind, has moved into Cancer. This brings a new set of attitudes to your ideas, a different set of concerns to handle in everyday life. Mercury in Gemini was about learning, pure and simple.
You wanted to move around, explore new interests, talk things over and share knowledge just for the joy of it. Your mind was flexible, animated, inventive, creative. You may have thought you were being logical, realistic, sensible and rational. But, frankly, you were fooling yourself.

Mercury in Cancer
Mercury, that frisky little scamp Astrology says rules your conscious mind -- the symbol of your intellect, has moved out of light-and-lively Gemini into the complex and twisty trails of Cancer. Mercury in Gemini is usually a pretty happy camper. That sign is one of the two home bases he owns and he is mighty comfortable there. I did say usually.

The New Moon in Gemini II
I promised two posts on the New Moon in Gemini -- because Gemini loves things that happen in pairs. It loves having back-up, spares, options and alternatives. It loves the chance to look at the same thing in different ways. (And it's always looking to learn something from these different perspectives.)

The New Moon in Gemini
For those who love to think and communicate, the New Moon in Gemini is like a second birthday. By that I mean it's a special extra treat -- not that we all feel a year older. The perspective shift that comes with every New Moon is especially interesting in Gemini.
There's a lot I could talk about. Gemini energy loves diversity -- and is easily distracted, flitting from topic to topic. In fact, I'll do another entry on this New Moon tomorrow. Gemini loves to have things in pairs. To honor that, let's do "two things to notice with the New Moon in Gemini."

The Dark of the Moon
The 3 1/2 days surrounding the New Moon every month, is a period Astrologers and others call the Dark of the Moon. The Dark of the Moon begins about 2 1/2 days before the conjunction of the Moon with the Sun -- which officially marks the New Moon's arrival. It lasts about 24 hours after this conjunction -- until the Moon is in position to reflect sunlight again.

Mercury Opposing Jupiter
Mercury opposes Jupiter about once a year -- every year, so this energy shows up every so often. It can be amusing, entertaining & infuriating all at the same time. What it isn't is credible. So ... let's talk. With Mercury opposing Jupiter you are full of plans and ideas. You have a Big Picture view of Life and what you want to do with it. You're ready to share -- and just need an audience, or customers, or clients.
