A time of substantial change
The New Moon in Scorpio brings a time when major changes are on the agenda. A time of refinement and improvement is at hand, as the great archetypal theme of death and resurrection lines up to demonstrate itself in all our lives one more time.
Things that are exhausted, obsolete, unproductive, ill, or depleted come to an end ... and replacements are fashioned -- or at least the beginnings of such.
The New Moon in Scorpio begins a time when endings and deaths...both literal and metaphorical ... are more in evidence than at other times of the year. A feeling of closure and permanent transitions settles in ... even if only in the memories of past experiences, associations, relationships, and "the way life used to be."
It's a time of inner reflection -- to replace attitudes, goals, and habits that are more a hindrance now than a help.

This alignment is known as a conjunction.
* What Does the Moon Represent -- in Your Natal Chart -- What is it ... and why is it important? ---> The Sun / The Moon ---> What's the difference? ---> The Sun in your horoscope represents your essential self -- the outer personality you present to the world and to most people who know you. But The Sun represents only one member of a whole family of inner selves, although, yes, it's a very important one. The second most important member of your inner family is the one represented by the Moon and its placement by sign and house in your Natal Chart.
