The Sun in Leo
The Sun entered Leo late on Monday. I think all the trumpets and fanfare that traditionally greet that announcement are a little over the top ... but if you've ever had a Leo in your life, you know what they're like. There's just no denying them their moment in the Sun ... or out there, center stage, in the spotlight.
You may start to notice how contagious is their special brand of exuberance and charm. In the month ahead, it's apt to take over and infect the rest of us as well ... so prepare to welcome a month of true joy into your world. When the Sun is in Leo, people use their personal energy in ways that directly support their egos -- and their need to be recognized and to "show off."
They favor actions that are dramatic, self-confident, and dignified. This energy is known for being flamboyant, extroverted, exhibitionistic, showy, attention-grabbing and proud. There is also extra emphasis on impressive appearances, romantic endeavors, leisure activities, speculative ventures, creative projects, relationships with children and lovers, and gestures designed to gain notice and applause.
Under stress, people may be ostentatious, arrogant, egotistical, haughty, overbearing, pretentious, pompous and vain.
The creative genius behind every page you see on the Enchanted Spirit site and every pretty HTML e-mail you receive is one of these special souls. I promise you the stark black-and-white text of my writing staring back at you from a piece of white paper ... wouldn't look nearly so fine.
* Articles in the extensive series "Things to Know About" are constructed from information originally published in Step-by-Step, our Premium Members several-times a week Astrology Ezine. This Ezine has been continuously published since late November 2001. The material is published here mostly for my convenience. It is not intended to be finished, organized, polished or even complete. Some of it may be notes that don't even make a lot of sense, but you're welcome to look at it.

His Majesty ... The Sun -- The Center of Our Solar System ---> The Sun is perhaps the most rudimentary and reliable chronometer ... "measure or marker of time" ... we have. It is certainly the most obvious. It rises every morning ... and sets every evening. It has been doing so for millions of years. It will continue this rhythm past the time limits any human mind can imagine.
What Do Sun Aspects Show? -- The Presence and Behavior of Your Inner Selves ---> All aspects to the Sun affect how the person, entity or event you're examining expresses itself ... and how it is perceived. If you have aspects to the Sun in your Natal Chart -- and chances are you do, an unaspected Sun is rare but not impossible -- it shows influences from your family of Inner Selves that affect your self expression. Planets that aspect your Sun shape your sense of who you are -- your self identity.
