The Sun in Virgo
When the Sun is in Virgo, people use their personal energy more logically, rationally and precisely than at other times. They value behaviors and methods that are intellectual, discriminating, efficient, and exacting.
This energy is known for being industrious, meticulous, methodical, and concerned with quality. There is also extra emphasis on "doing work," - not just the job one does for money, but "service performed for the benefit of others," like errands, chores, favors, "doing one's duty," and "meeting agreements and obligations."
People may also give extra attention to health matters - including diet, exercise, rest, nutrition, etc.
Under stress, people are unusually critical, closed-minded, opinionated, perfectionistic, intolerant, and unwilling to consider other perspectives and concerns.

This Ezine has been continuously published since late November 2001. The material is published here mostly for my convenience. It is not intended to be finished, organized, polished or even complete. Some of it may be notes that don't even make a lot of sense, but you're welcome to look at it.

Born with the Sun in Virgo -- The Virgo Character ---> Virgo's symbol is the young woman ... the virgin. -- Virgos devote themselves to work. -- I will try to keep this brief. I know how Virgos like efficiency. Work and service are their passions. They'll find it -- or at least what they define as it -- even if they have to make it up. The Leo-to-Virgo Cusp-Born Person -- August 18 through August 23 ---> Modesty is also a virtue -- The blend of traits for people born in the transition between Leo and Virgo puts together an interesting and contradictory mix. The foundation of Leo's bravado and grandstanding style moving into Virgo's much more modest and self-effacing presentation, creates someone who starts out full of bluster and self-promotion -- and then pulls back sharply at the first sign that his audience doesn't absolutely adore him.
