Pink is a Venus color!
The Roman goddess of love and desire
Venus. The Greeks called her Aphrodite. She was born of sea-foam -- and Botticelli's famous painting shows her as a fully mature woman, standing in a scallop shell as it arrives ashore. Her archetype is considered the feminine counterpart to the lusty maleness of Vulcan and Mars. (Hephaestus and Ares <-- yes, that's how it's spelled.)
Her domain contained matters of love, relationships, desire, sexuality, fertility, financial luck, abundance and prosperity, and art and culture. In Astrology, she rules over all matters regarding pleasure and things of value. The ambiguity, of course, covers a lot of territory -- including most tangible goods and social relationships ... from casual to intimate -- or from the general public to your significant partner.
