Relationships that last
When Venus is in Capricorn, people are careful, conventional, prudent, and practical in their relationships. They emphasize qualities such as dignity, persistence, stability, self-control, and meeting responsibilities.
Expressions of love and caring are subtle and subdued ... at times, almost invisible. Romantic gestures are discreet, circumspect, reserved, and tried and true reliable.
People are more interested in things like durability, status, prestige, tenacity, attending to duty, playing by the rules, and being realistic than in hearts and flowers.
Take hard work
When Venus is in Capricorn, the social climate is marked by determination, discipline, thrift, correctness, and hard work.
The up-side of this is that people invest themselves for the long term in their relationships ... but the down-side is that they expect a payoff from this in terms of community standing, social position, financial reward ... or some other important and perhaps tangible gain.
And require consideration
Love seems to have a price tag ... and may be heavily influenced by things like social status, professional considerations, and money.
Under stress with Venus in Capricorn, people are distrustful, unfriendly, unapproachable, controlling, and cynical in conducting relationships. A definite coldness stifles love and intimacy.
People feel burdened, lonely, critical, indifferent -- and treat others this way, in moves that become self-fulfilling prophecies. Under heavy stress, they can be rejecting, bitter, calculating, dogmatic, and vengeful.
